PM Kisan Yojana 20th Instalment : PM-KISAN Yojana 20th Installment : The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana (PM-KISAN) is one of the flagship schemes of the Government of India aimed at supporting small and marginal farmers financially. What is PM-KISAN Yojana?
The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana was launched on December 1, 2018. It was initiated by the Government of India through the Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare. The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to small and marginal farmers so that they can meet all their farming-related needs and become self-reliant. Under this scheme, the central government provides financial aid of ₹6,000 per year to farmers. This amount is given in three installments of ₹2,000 each and is directly transferred to the farmers’ bank accounts through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) system.
How Many Installments Have Been Released?
As of now, 19 installments have been successfully disbursed. The 20th installment is likely to be credited between July and August 2025, although the official date is yet to be announced by the Ministry of Agriculture.

Condition: Only farmers who have completed their e-KYC and meet eligibility criteria will receive the amount.
PM Kisan Yojana Eligibility Criteria
To receive benefits under the PM-KISAN scheme, a farmer must:
- Be a citizen of India
- Own cultivable land up to 2 hectares
- Have a valid Aadhaar-linked bank account
- Complete e-KYC verification
Who is Not Eligible?
The following individuals are excluded from the scheme:
- Income Tax payers
- Retired or serving government employees
- Doctors, engineers, lawyers, and other professionals under regular practice
- Institutional landholders

- 3. Enter Aadhaar Number or Bank Account Number
- 4. Click “Get Data” to see the payment history
How to Complete e-KYC?
- 1. Visit the official PM-KISAN portal
- 2. Click on e-KYC
- 3. Enter Aadhaar number and OTP
- 4. Complete biometric verification (if required at CSC)
Note : The official release date for the 20th installment under the PM-Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana has not been announced yet. However, based on previous years’ records and media reports, the 20th installment is likely to be released either in the last week of June or in July.
